We collect names and email addresses from people who sign up to receive a regular newsletter from Black Burlesque Festival, either via the Black Burlesque Festival website or by opting in whilst buying tickets. These email addresses are only used for this purpose.

We collect phone numbers from people who opt in to receiving updates via WhatsApp or opt in to being added to a WhatsApp Group.

The only data stored by Black Burlesque Festival are the phone numbers and email addresses that have been shared with us in order to provide regular updates or information via email or WhatsApp. These are digital records only.
Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time via the link included in each email sent.
Members of WhatsApp groups or recipients of WhatsApp communications can request to stop this communication at any time. Held phone numbers will be deleted within one month of the request being made.

Data processors
Design My Night
This data processor does the following activities for us: They provide a ticket booking and management service for Black Burlesque Festival performances.
Design My Night is our main ticketing provider. We also occasionally sell allocations of tickets via other established ticket booking and guest management services, including but not limited to Dice and Get Your Guide.
Squarespace
These data processors do the following activities for us: Squarespace process purchases made via the Black Burlesque Festival website, for some Black Burlesque Festival and Black Burlesque School products.
